This softball league breaks alot of stereotypes. The African American commissioner is awesome and hardworking. You can read this Baltimore Sun article about Eric Washington. The family support was amazing, many two parent homes with two parents at the game cheering on their daughters. And the girls could play ball! We had good coaching, Big A became a better player with their help. She also was able to learn how to pitch and got decently good. There was a great sense of community and my whole family loved every minute of playing with this league.
