Baking with Love ♥

We had so much fun making playdough, we did some more baking with love ♥  this week!

Yesterday, Z Man and Big A helped peel shrimp. Then Big A had her first try of cutting onion and she cried (from the onions) but she was so proud of the shrimp alfredo sauce she help make.

We bought these cookie cutters from  here about 5 years ago.

We ate them up too fast before we were able
 to frost them or take pictures;)
However, when I do make frosting this is what I use.
I looked for the product online, but I am not sure if
the company still makes it. As you can see turmeric is the natural dye!

Today, we made cookies!

The pot pie filling was made with everything but the kitchen sink, lol.
It was mainly chicken  & broth, chopped baby carrots, flour, potato,
whole green beans and sweet white corn from Trader Joes.
Mostly all fresh ingredient!

Lil A loved brushing the pie with egg yolk, yes it is a real paint brush, but it had never been used.

I used this recipe for the crust, it was a little tart, but my family loved it! ♥ 

and then we made Chicken Pot Pie with some added ♥
