San Antonio is a wonderful city. We had so much fun! When you go downtown and do the Alamo and the Riverwalk, you feel as you are in a different time or a different land. The Riverwalk reminds people of the city of Venice in Italy. We dined on the river at an Italian restaurant, watching the people and the river taxi pass us by. The Alamo is a beautiful museum. Whether you agree or disagree with the war, the people- Mexican (the Indigenous people), Caucasian, and/or African-American all agree on the Fiesta. The kids are out of school on vacation and all participate in the celebration. Our plan was to visit my only cousin living in Texas: Cashawn. This picture is of Cashawn, her husband: Gerry, her son and Humble Dad and I.

We love the beach. I love the beach so much that I will drive however far to get to the closest one. The closest beach to Tyler, TX was in Corpus Christi, TX on the Gulf of Mexico. Can you guess who is being buried up to their nose... yes, it is S Man. He looked like a zombie afterward. We had so much fun here and it is just an hour from San Antonio and Houston. And it is only April, how many places can you swim in April?
